Vanguard Prep supports families in the Dallas area by offering students with special needs a rigorous academic program that is delivered within a highly structured, predictable and nurturing environment.
Vanguard Preparatory School was founded in 1993 by Rosalind Funderburgh, M. Ed. to address the needs of students experiencing academic, social and emotional difficulties. Serving as its director and drawing from her more than 35 years of educational experience with special student populations, she transformed the small program into one of the area’s leading private therapeutic schools, which today serves over 140 students.
Vanguard epitomizes the kind of opportunity the Jordan Spieth Charitable Fund encourages for special needs children and young adults in order for them to reach their fullest potential. The Fund's donation will be used toward scholarships and student tuition.
