Jordan Commits to 2017 Waste Management Phoenix Open

Jordan Spieth has committed to the 2017 Waste Management Phoenix Open, set to tee off Jan. 30-Feb. 5 at TPC Scottsdale.

“Jordan is undeniably one of the foremost talents in the game today and we are excited that our fans will get to see him in action this year competing against such a strong field,” Tournament Chairman Andy Markham said in a statement.

Spieth has eight career PGA Tour wins, including two major victories (2015 Masters, 2015 U.S. Open) while holding down the No. 1 ranking in the world for 26 weeks. He had a breakout year in 2015, capturing his two major wins along with the Tour Championship to propel him to PGA Tour Player of the Year honors and the FedEx Cup title. Spieth also was the recipient of the Byron Nelson Award, the Vardon Trophy and was the PGA TOUR’s leading money winner with more than $12 million in earnings.
