2015 Valero Texas Open: Final Round

2015 Valero Texas Open

Jordan Moves to No. 4 in Official World Golf Rankings

For the second consecutive week, the guy who finished second got a nice consolation prize.

Henrik Stenson surpassed Bubba Watson to take over as the second-ranked player in the world last week, and Jordan Spieth, thanks to his second-place finish at the Valero Texas Open, moved up to No. 4 in the Official World Golf Ranking on Sunday.

In doing so, Spieth leapfrogged both Jason Day and Adam Scott to reach the highest ranking of his career.

And Spieth wasn't the only American moving into the top 10. Dustin Johnson, who had slipped down to 23rd during his absence, is back up to No. 7, and Valero winner Jimmy Walker cracked the top 10 for the first time.
