I was fascinated to see how Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed would respond to getting benched on Friday afternoon and they did so beautifully.
The Ryder Cup rookies took down Martin Kaymer and Thomas Bjorn 5 and 3 after trailing by two holes early on in their match.
"It was the same thing (as Friday)," said Spieth to NBC. "We fed off each other nicely. We stayed positive and we started making birdies back and forth."
They made plenty of them, eight to be exact, including three to close out the match.
The emotion they showed all day was palpable, too.
