2016 Spieth Shootout

Jordan Spieth Hosts the Third Annual 'Spieth Shootout' at TPC Las Colinas

On October 18th Jordan hosted the third annual “Spieth Shootout”, benefitting The Jordan Spieth Family Foundation. The two-day event culminated on Tuesday in a private golf tournament pairing each foursome with TOUR players and celebrity guests at TPC Las Colinas, the home of the AT&T Byron Nelson Championship and Jordan’s PGA TOUR debut. The Foundation team welcomed guests on a beautiful Texas morning to breakfast on the driving range while friends and partners mingled and enjoyed warm up. The “Texas Shamble” tournament circled the course with food, refreshment and fun, with guests ranging from fellow TOUR player and Major Champion Zach Johnson to former Texas Rangers Daren Oliver and MLB “All-Star” Matt Carpenter. Golfers were welcomed to a poolside reception upon finishing their rounds where Jordan presented the winning group with the official Spieth Shootout trophies.

The golf was followed by a concert in a Texas-sized venue at The Four Seasons Las Colinas where the Foundation rolled out the “green carpet” for supporters. The evening party welcomed over 500 people for dinner, dancing and live music provided by Jordan’s favorite country artists Wade Bowen and Randy Rogers. The crowd was also treated to a fun Q&A with Jordan and friend Ryan Palmer, hosted by Notah Begay. From a Virtual Green putting experience to the picture-perfect SPIETH AT&T letters, it was a memorable evening while for all raising funds and awareness for Spieth’s Family Foundation and its three pillars: Special Needs Youth, Military Families and Junior Golf.
