Jordan Spieth Outfits for The Masters

2014 Masters Tournament

Jordan Spieth's Scintillating Performance Shines Spotlight On Under Armour Golf At The Masters

Moving Day at The Masters included 20-year-old golfer Jordan Spieth rising up the leaderboard to finish in 1st place alongside Bubba Watson.  Saturday was an excellent opportunity for apparel manufacturer Under Armour UA to take center stage, with logos positioned all over Spieth’s sprawling body.  The brand’s opportunity to be featured on air will only be enhanced in the Final Round with Spieth attempting to become the youngest player to win The Masters, besting a 21-year-old Tiger Woods who first won the tournament in 1997.

Speaking of Tiger, he is noticeably absent from this year’s Masters Tournament.  Rory McIlroy is participating, but has failed to remain in close contention.  The result is that Nike, which spends more than $20 million per year on Woods and another $20 million annually on McIlroy, is hardly receiving a mention while its competitor Under Amour enjoys the attention of being associated with the hottest rookie in the field.
