Masters champion and Dallas resident Jordan Spieth attended the game and came to midcourt during a first-half timeout and was presented with a Mavericks’ jersey by owner Mark Cuban.
And, yes, Spieth was wearing his green jacket. Or at least, a green jacket.
After winning at the Masters, Spieth talked about how Dirk Nowitzki was his favorite athlete when he was growing up.
The Mavericks played a video clip of the interview and Spieth waved his jersey helicopter style overhead to urge on the crowd.
