For the second year in a row, AT&T partnered with the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation on a special Mother’s Day activation designed to honor military moms and moms-to-be supported by Operation Shower. A collector’s edition, bright pink golf bag (dubbed the “Pink AT&T Bag”) was created for Jordan to carry on Mother’s Day during the AT&T Byron Nelson. Because of the cancellation of the tournament, the bag will not be carried during competition. However, Jordan has autographed the bag and donated it to Operation Shower, to be auctioned off during an online fundraising event. The auction will help Operation Shower continue its mission of extending gratitude to military moms-to-be whose spouses are deployed, or expectant moms who are active duty themselves.
The pink AT&T Bag program is part of the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation’s mission to provide financial assistance and a platform for supporting military members and their families, as well as junior golf programs, pediatric cancer and friends with special needs; the latter mission pillar was the inspiration for the Foundation, inspired by Jordan’s sister Ellie.
