The Jordan Spieth Family Foundation Legacy Partners: Setting the Course for Lasting Change

It is our great pleasure to announce a new grant program, the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation Legacy Partners. This philanthropic initiative comprises four organizations aligned with the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation (JSFF) mission pillars, doing work that is close to the heart of the Spieth family and this Foundation. The Legacy Grants represent five-year commitments, each of ongoing support to sustain their important work. The JSFF is proud to know our funds are flowing directly into the hands of families and youth in need, as we continue to identity annual mission partners, as well.

The People Project
The People Project was created in 2021 as the renaming of The Huckleberry Foundation for families with special needs.

Individuals With Special Needs

The People Project
The People Project provides direct assistance to families with children in need of therapy and devices via our Huck Helps Fund. The JSFF grant will allow The People Project to provide financial support to a number of Texas-based families in need, directly improving the lives of children with special needs. Some examples of uses of the assistance include, but are not limited to, recreational program tuition, medical evaluations, social skills training, therapies, safety related items, devices used for communication or transportation, and much more. Boot Campaign
The Better Business Bureau selected Boot Campaign as one of 26 national veteran and military service nonprofits that meet the 20 stringent standards.

Military Families and Veterans

Boot Campaign
Boot Campaign's mission is to unite Americans to honor the lives of veterans and military families through individualized, life-improving programs. The JSFF supports Boot Campaign’s Santa Boots Program, which drives patriotism and engages the community in helping meet service members’ needs, striving to make the holiday season brighter by delivering specially curated gift boxes to veterans and active-duty military families nationwide. The veteran and military families served through Boot Campaign’s Santa Boots program fall into three primary categories: those with financial hardship; those with health concerns; and those currently serving in the Armed Forces overseas. Boot Campaign’s Santa Boots program has already made a difference for more than 2,500 individuals, providing holiday gift boxes to junior enlisted, active-duty military and veteran families. The goal of the Fairway to Success Program is furthering The PGA of America’s efforts of becoming more inclusive to attract the increasingly diverse consumer population to the game, the business and golf’s workforce.

Junior Golf

Northern Texas PGA Foundation, Fairway to Success Program
The Fairway to Success Program annually awards scholarships to deserving Dallas public-school students based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, community involvement, financial need, and completion of the Northern Texas PGA (NTPGA) Foundation’s after-school opportunity. We are honored to support this avenue for golf to serve as an on-ramp to future academic and life endeavors for amazing Dallas-area seniors. In the last few years, JSFF has seen first-hand the positive influence that the Fairway to Success program has had on many students in North Texas. Many of these young golfers are navigating far more complex situations than the average high school senior, and often pursuing college as one of the first in their families. The NTPGA built this program around the idea of learning disciplines of life through golf and fostering a mentor relationship. It culminates with college scholarships being awarded to deserving students and partnering each scholarship recipient with a Deloitte mentor to offer guidance in the school years ahead.
