North Texas Capernaum Young Life

North Texas Capernaum Young Life provides faith-based programming and community for teens and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the Dallas area. JSFF funding supports camp scholarships, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent participants from experiencing transformative summer camps that build confidence, independence, and belonging. These experiences, often firsts like travel, adventure activities, and time away from home, create lasting emotional and social growth for participants and meaningful respite for families. The program’s emphasis on inclusion, mentorship, and holistic development aligns closely with JSFF’s commitment to empowering individuals with special needs to live full, enriched lives.

We are profoundly grateful to the JSFF for their generous investment in our campership program. This grant ensures that financial constraints will not be a barrier to adventure this summer. It allows us to bring dozens of adolescents with disabilities who otherwise would miss out on the transformative power of camp. This grant is a direct investment in the joy and resilience of our community’s underserved youth.

United Rocks*

United Rocks delivers adaptive rockclimbing programs designed to build physical, mental, and social skills for individuals with special needs. Founded in Dallas and now with programming across multiple cities, the organization creates inclusive spaces where participants can challenge themselves, build confidence, and develop community through sport. JSFF funding supports program expansion, equipment, and access – after seeing firsthand the joy and growth Ellie Spieth experience after becoming a part of United Rocks, we want to ensure more individuals can participate regardless of financial means.

The support from the JSFF Grant means so much more than funding for United Rocks. It creates life changing opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to feel strong, capable, and included through climbing. Because of this support, more athletes will gain confidence, build friendships, and experience the pride of being part of a community that truly believes in their potential.

Pediatric Cancer

Carson Leslie Foundation*

The Carson Leslie Foundation is advancing innovative pediatric brain cancer research with a focused commitment to improving early detection and treatment outcomes for children diagnosed with medulloblastoma. This year, as our premiere research grant, the JSFF funding supports cutting-edge research initiatives aimed at identifying biomarkers and diagnostic pathways that could enable earlier, more accurate detection. This progress has the potential to significantly improve survival rates while reducing the long-term impact of treatment. By investing at a critical stage, we aim to help CLF accelerate the development of more targeted, less invasive therapies for young patients. The promise of this research lies not only in extending lives, but in improving quality of life for survivors and offering renewed hope to families navigating a pediatric cancer diagnosis.

Support from The Jordan Spieth Family Foundation allows us to pursue one of the most important breakthroughs in pediatric cancer, detecting medulloblastoma before it becomes life-threatening. This grant helps move us closer to a future where a simple blood test at a baby’s checkup could spare children from devastating brain surgery and toxic treatments.

Roc Solid Foundation*

Roc Solid Foundation provides critical support to families navigating pediatric cancer, and this grant will specifically support its joy-focused Play program. JSFF funding enables the construction of custom backyard playsets that offer safe, joyful spaces for children in treatment. These initiatives provide both immediate relief and meaningful moments of normalcy during a challenging time. Roc Solid’s ability to meet families with tangible support aligns closely with JSFF’s commitment to improving the pediatric cancer journey – after experiencing a build with them first hand in 2024, we have been sold on their model of family and joy focused efforts and how leaning into one child’s journey through treatment can be truly lifechanging. We look forward to a Team Spieth build in 2026!

We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation to build hope for kids fighting cancer. With their support and belief in our mission, we will continue to impact families through our backyard Play and Ready Bag programs throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond.

Military Families

Project Unbroken

Project Unbroken supports children and families who have experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide, including a growing focus on military families facing unique challenges. JSFF funding expands access to scholarships and extracurricular support, helping children remain engaged in school and community activities during times of profound loss. By addressing both emotional recovery and practical needs, the organization fosters resilience and long-term stability. This work aligns with JSFF’s commitment to supporting military families through meaningful, lasting impact.

When a child loses a parent to suicide after a life of military service, the future can suddenly feel uncertain and out of reach. This generous support from JSFF honors that family’s sacrifice by removing financial barriers so these young survivors can pursue college or trade training and begin building the lives their parents hoped for them. It’s more than a scholarship—it’s a powerful reminder that their future still matters.

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing*

Project Healing Waters serves veterans and active-duty military through therapeutic, community-based programming centered around fly fishing. Participants engage in activities such as casting, fly tying, and guided outings, building connection, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. JSFF funding helps ensure these programs remain accessible at no cost to participants nationwide. The organization’s emphasis on healing, community, and well-being aligns closely with JSFF’s mission to support those who have served and focusing on programs like PHW that recognizes the value of long-term community and access to support.

The Jordan Spieth Family Foundation’s support will allow Project Healing Waters to expand access to our therapeutic fly-fishing programs and serve 100 additional veterans this year. Their investment helps ensure that veterans living with the visible and invisible wounds of service can find healing, camaraderie, and renewed purpose through our programs and the strength of a supportive community.

Warrior Bonfire

The JSFF grant to the Warrior Bonfire will support two small-group, activity-based retreats designed specifically for combat-wounded Purple Heart recipients. These retreats provide a safe, stress-free environment where veterans can engage in outdoor adventures, peer dialogue, and restorative ceremonies, including a signature American Flag Retirement Ceremony, to help process post-combat trauma and many other outcomes of a life in service. By covering core expenses such as lodging, travel, and coordination, this grant will enable at least a dozen additional veterans to access these life-changing experiences. The program’s mission is to reduce isolation, improve mental health, and empower our nation’s heroes to discover renewed purpose and build stronger community and family relationships, and the JSFF is proud to support this initiative as it bridges the gap between clinical care and meaningful personal connection.

The support of the Jordan Speith Family Foundation is much appreciated and is instrumental in our ability to serve Purple Heart recipients through small groups that foster healing and connection while recognizing and supporting the vital role of their spouses. Thank you very much!!
